Ann Coulter tweets Chris Christie: You’re dead to me.

Via Breitbart:

Ann Coulter, who had been one of Gov. Chris Christie’s biggest cheerleaders, is a fan no more. She tweeted on Thursday that Christie is “dead” to her after Sen. Jeffrey Chiesa (R-NJ), the Senator whom Christie appointed after the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), voted to end debate on the Immigration Reform Bill:

Apparently now Coulter is backing Ted Cruz for 2016.  Good choice, just hope that she sticks by it.  Read more here at

Dewhurst will pass Texas SB5 to protect women

Via Hot Air:

In an exclusive* Hot Air interview, Lt. Governor David Dewhurst of Texas insists that the attempt to hijack the legislative process by pro-abortion activists this week will not stop the state from passing a limitation on late-term abortions and requirements for clinics to meet the same standards as other ambulatory surgical centers. Dewhurst also says that his office is reviewing the security tapes from the demonstration that derailed the bill at the end of the regular session, and that arrests may be made for inciting a riot — including perhaps some members of the media.

Update: Elizabeth “The Anchoress” Scalia compares red shoes to pink sneakers, although I called them orange in the interview:

A pope choosing to wear red shoes reminds us that Peter, in every iteration, proceeds through the blood of those who have gone before him — the martyrs who have been slainand are still being slain for the sake of Christ.

Likewise, a pro-abortion flame-fanner choosing to wear #standwithWendy pink — “rouge red” — sneakers reminds us that she proceeds through the red blood and shredded pink tissue, sucked out brains, collapsed skulls and snipped necks of those who will never be — human beings who have been slain, and are being slain, martyrs for the sake of…well…not Christ?

You can tell a lot about people by the kind of shoes they mock and sneer at, and the kind they celebrate and gush over.

Fascinating to consider, as well, which person you would trust with your life, or the life of your child, or the life of your elderly mother.

The distraction of the shoes. If you talk about the shoes, and get other people talking about the shoes, you don’t actually have to talk about what the wearers are saying.

Who knew shoes could be so instructive? Lessons worth absorbing.

I’m praying for the safety of those that are in that chamber. Occupy has a thoroughly well documented history of violence.

NFL rejects government request to peddle Obamacare

Via Breitbart Sports:

On Friday, the NFL indicated that the league had no desire to help the Obama administration sell and implement Obamacare this fall.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy emailed the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein to say the NFL had no plans to help promote Obamacare:

We have responded to the letters we received from members of Congress to inform them we currently have no plans to engage in this area and have had no substantive contact with the administration about PPACA’s implementation.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello emailed the Washington Post the same statement.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius had said this week the Obama administration was looking to partner with professional sports leagues to market Obamacare exchanges this fall to sell the unpopular healthcare law to the public.

The NFL’s statement comes hours after the two top ranking Republicans in the Senate–Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senate Republican Whip John Cornyn (R-TX)–wrote a letter to six major professional sports leagues urging them not to feel threatened or pressured into supporting Obamacare.

Well thank God the NFL has enough sense to know what a horrible idea that was…

*Video Degraff & Borelli discuss the Paula Deen Controversy

On Sean Hannity last night Deneen Borelli and Minister Jaques Degraff discussed the Paula Deen controversy.  Degraff suggested that in one of the apology videos by Deen she “appeared sincere”.   He suggested that “repentance is an act.”  Yet when asked why Al Sharpton isn’t subjected to the same castigation as Deen, he deflected, by calling the comparison “a distraction”.  Really?

What?  The bigger question here is what type of qualifications are necessary to become a minister?  Why doesn’t this minister Jaques Degraff castigate Al Sharpton for the same behavior?  Notice that both Sharpton and Degraff  are apologists for the Democratic Party excusing bad behavior on the part of other apologists with the title “minister” or “reverend” in front of their name.

#SOTR on the Liberal Art of Deflection *Video

The constant playing of the race card, the “War on Women” “War on the Black Man” and other such nonsense are meant to stop people from looking at what this administration is really doing: transforming America for the worse.  Pay that no attention, as it isn’t real.  What is real is the economy barely moving, and a Federal Government that is so bloated and corrupt that no citizen is safe under it’s rule.

Priests call for Pelosi to renounce Catholicism

A commenter on the Black Conservative Political Action FB page foretold of this. I called for the Catholic Church to publicly admonish pro abortion politicians like Nancy Pelosi. Well Priests for Life has done so.

In response, Pelosi is mocking the Priests calling for her to leave the Catholic Church over her support of abortion.

Via LifeNews:

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi is lauging off a letter from a top pro-life priest who is asking her to revise her pro-abortion position to make it conform to the pro-life teachings of the Catholic Church or to leave the Church.

LifeNews reported on Father Frank Pavone’s letter to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Pavone made an appearance on Fox News this weekend to underscore his point.

In an interview with the liberal web site Think Progress, Pelosi attacked Pavone, calling him hysterical:

My faith is very deep and has been my whole life. I love my faith and my faith has nothing to do with whoever he is. The arrogance of it all! It’s like something ancient, medieval…The Church taught me as I was growing up that every person has a free will and has the responsibility to live up to a moral standard. And I respect women’s judgment and values to do that.

The letter would have had more power coming from a higher up not associated with the pro life movement, but its still good in its form. It’s past time to call these politicians out, and all faiths should speak up.

It’s important that the weak minded not be lead astray by the “leaders” of our day.
