RGIII Calls out the tyranny of political correctness – #Tolerance ensues #SOTR

Wild Card Playoffs - Seattle Seahawks v Washington RedskinsRGIII is in the news again.  Once again he is telling the truth and people on the left don’t like it!  The reaction to his statement goes light years towards proving his point: if you don’t cow-tow to gay rights activists and “celebrate” an NBA player making his sexual choices the story instead of his performance in the game, you are in the wrong.

Why should the Redskins change their name?  To save the feelings of American Indians?  Does anyone actually think of Native Americans when they’re watching the Redskins play?  And let’s not anger the PC Police with the fact that no one cares about the sexual proclivities of Jason Collins.

WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III took to Twitter on Tuesday to complain about the “tyranny of political correctness” he believes is holding American culture “hostage.”

“In a land of freedom we are held hostage by the tyranny of political correctness,” the NFL player wrote on his official Twitter account. He followed up the post with a definition of the word, writing: “Tyranny- ‘a condition imposed by some outside agency or force<living under the tyranny of the clock’ or political correctness…”

The Twitter commentary comes as some are pushing the NFL to change the Redskins team name due to the racial implications of the Native American moniker. Additionally, NBA player Jason Collins garnered an abundance of media attention in the past week after coming out as the first openly gay player on a major, professional American sports team.

Yup!  This is what matters most in sports y’all….
